Welcome to my profile/art page/gallery (I guess that's what you could this).
My name is Karakau, which is the translation for " to tease." I also go by Tease or ティーズ (neither were available when I made my username...).
My main art style is anime/manga and occasionally realism. I use to paint and draw a lot, but now I'm too busy with classes and such. So I don't do either things as much.
Now a days and the last few years, I've been making chibi figures. Mainly, because it's fun to mold and shape clay, plus I can do it whenever it's convenient for me. Secondly, sometimes I want a figurine like a Nendoroid or some character/variation, but it's either not on the market or I can't afford it, so the next best thing is to make my own. Yup, 100% handmade from scratch, neither alterations of existing figures nor mix-n-match parts.
I guess long story short...

Summer is now coming to an end and school is starting again.... yay... more loans, bills, interest, etc...
Nonetheless, I made some progress this summer in terms of figure making. I made a total of 4 figures (one I will be finishing and uploading later) and three of which were commissions, which is pretty great. Even though, all of the commissions were from my friend ~SnowWeiss (https://www.deviantart.com/snowweiss) and his project White Knightmare; it's still good practice for me and the extra income can be used to pay for books.
I wonder what my next project will be for Winter because most likely I won't have time to make stuff during the school year.

End of the year reflection....

Wow, I haven't made a journal entry since February. ^^;
Considering it's almost the end of the year, might as well. o3o
Looking at the figures I've made throughout this year, it's great to see that I've improved a lot since my first one years ago. I have to admit, I probably made the most progress when I switched from using paper clay to kato polymer clay because I am able to bake and continue working with the clay. Whereas, with paper clay, I have to wait until tomorrow or when it dries to continue working. So with polymer clay, I am able to make more figures in a shorter amount of time.
Perhaps, the next step is to make molds or somethin
